We are pleased to invite you to this year’s Hannover Messe. From March 31 to April 4, 2025, we will be presenting exciting innovations, the latest technologies and individual solutions for your requirements at three stands. Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with our experts and gain valuable insights into the future of your industry. Please feel free to arrange an appointment with us in advance!
We look forward to your visit!
At our booth in Hall 6, Booth D52, we will present the new RoboHAWK.
This combines the highly flexible ABB GoFa cobot with IPG’s advanced pulsed qcw laser welding system and promises to revolutionize the world of manufacturing.
The new laser welding robot combines superior precision, efficiency and user-friendliness in a compact system.
With a laser output of up to 900 W and intuitive operation, the system opens up completely new application possibilities for companies of all sizes.
A new dimension in manufacturing
“Our goal was to develop a welding technology that is not only powerful, but also accessible and versatile,” explains Philipp Becker, Managing Director of Vision Lasertechnik. “With the new laser welding robot, we are setting new standards in the industry and opening up possibilities for our customers that were previously unattainable.”
This innovative approach is suitable for a wide range of applications, including small-scale production, high-precision machining in sensitive industries such as aerospace and the automotive industry.

The Battery Use Case: connected innovation for Europe’s battery future
A special highlight: 10 leading exhibitors are jointly presenting the Battery Use Case – a networked value chain from the battery cell to pack production to Re-X and recycling. This unique, non-competitive project has a clear goal: to position Europe as a quality and innovation leader in EV battery production.
Here we present the fully automatic laser welding of battery cells.
What makes this project special is the close cooperation between leading German and European companies. Together they are developing solutions that not only present the automated production of battery cells and packs in a networked value chain, but also include innovative approaches for Re-X cycles and recycling.
This combination of manufacturing and sustainable material cycles is unique to date and shows how industry can actively contribute to conserving resources and avoiding waste. 2025 marks the start of this visionary project, which will grow steadily over the coming years.
The goal: to continuously develop real innovations in cell and pack production and in recycling and thereby strengthen the competitiveness of Germany and Europe. The knowledge gained here can also be transferred to numerous other production processes and open up new perspectives for more precise, flexible and resource-efficient production.
Together with the LNI 4.0 (Labs Network Industry 4.0), we are placing a fully automated laser marking system at the Canada Pavilion in Hall 2 (Stand B42).
The material handling is carried out by a Franka Robotics lightweight robot, which takes components from a magazine according to requirements and feeds them to the laser marking system.
